Invention of Seibersdorf Labor GmbH ranks in Top-10 of Austrian patents 2013

The Austrian Patent Office ranks the invention “NFC fill level measurement” as one of the 10 best Austrian patents in 2013.

The fill level measurement in pens is a very important task for certain medications. Our solution can be used for several treatments (e.g. insulin therapy) to measure small amounts of medication liquids via a special electrode- and antenna configuration mounted outside the carpule of a pen which then transfers the measured values over an integrated NFC interface e.g. to a smart phone with a dedicated app.
