Field Nose Basic – EMF Measuring System
FIELD NOSE BASIC is a system for the accurate measurement of electromagnetic fields caused by transmitters in the frequency range from 80 MHz to 3 GHz. Due to frequency selectiveness the emissions can be assigned to the causers.

The spectrum analyser, the tripod and the control computer are already available in the test lab.
The software NOSE:
has been developed for performing measurements and visualisation of results. Predefined measurement setups are available for the most common emitters. Therefore measurement errors caused by incorrect setting (e.g. integration time for pulsed signals too short) can be avoided. This ensures that the system can be used also from inexperienced users. Measurement experts, on the other hand, have full con-trol of all parameters.
